Ballads can tell the meaningful stories of our faith through music. The timeless story of Christmas is alive once more as the choir and instrumentalists present the Christmas cantata, “The Ballad of Bethlehem” on Sunday, December 15, 2024. The music weaves new and rhythmic tunes with the timeless traditional songs about the birth of Jesus Christ. The program will begin at 3:00 pm. R. Dean Kershaw, Organist/Choirmaster of West End Baptist Church, will provide a pre-service concert of seasonal music fifteen minutes prior to the cantata. The service will be followed by a reception.
